Morgan + Michael

We grew up in the same church in Indiana as kids until his family moved away when he was 10. After a 15 year hiatus, we reconnected after he moved back to Indiana for a job and I was home visiting family since I now live in Minnesota! After dating long distance for 7 months, a door opened for Michael to move to Minnesota and work at the same church I currently work at! We are so thankful that Minnesota is now OUR home!  Michael’s proposal was a year in the making and he started planning it before we were officially dating. A true “when you know, you know” story. He started writing letters to me in November 2022 and sporadically wrote more letters over the course of the year. Unbeknownst to me, the week of the engagement, he stole my letters back and used them to pop the question. The first letter of the first word in each letter was bolded. What I thought was a funny quirk ended up having so much meaning behind it in the end. Putting the letters together, each first word intentionally spelt out “Will You Marry Me?” He is the absolute sweetest human!
