PRIVACY STATEMENT
Last updated: August 25, 2026
SECTION 1 - WHAT DO WE DO WITH YOUR INFORMATION?
When you purchase something from our store, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address. When you browse our store, our servers automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address and browser information in order to deliver the site to you and keep it secure. When you use our search tools, the search terms and filters you enter are processed by our search provider in order to return results to you. If you choose to use our live chat, subscribe to our mailing list, request an appointment, or submit a form, we collect the information you provide in that conversation or form. Email marketing: with your permission, we may send you emails about our store, new products and other updates.
SECTION 2 - CONSENT AND YOUR PRIVACY CHOICES
How do you get my consent? When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only. If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent, or provide you with an opportunity to say no.
Cookies, analytics, and advertising - notice and opt-out.When you first visit, we show a notice banner, and nothing non-essential loads before you have had a chance to see it. If you keep browsing our site after the notice or choose "Accept," our analytics, advertising, A/B testing, and live chat services turn on. You can opt out of any or all of them at any time - including before they ever load - on our "Your Privacy Choices" page, and time spent on that page or on this policy is never treated as acceptance. Your choice is stored on your device (with the date and version of this policy) so we can honor it on future visits.
Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a decline automatically, without showing you the banner. You can still opt in later through the "Your Privacy Choices" page linked in the footer if you wish.
How do I withdraw my consent? You can change or withdraw your cookie and tracking choices at any time, by category (Analytics & Performance, Advertising, Live Chat & Embedded Content), using the "Your Privacy Choices" link in the footer of every page. Withdrawing consent stops these services from loading from that point forward. You may also withdraw your consent for us to contact you, or for the continued collection, use or disclosure of your information, at any time by contacting us at hello@oliveavejewelry.com or mailing us at:
Olive Avenue Jewelry
4824 E Baseline Rd, Mesa, AZ 85206
SECTION 3 - DISCLOSURE
We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms of Service. We do not sell your personal information for money. Some advertising and analytics services described in Section 5 may be considered "sharing" or "selling" under certain state privacy laws; you can opt out of those services at any time, and turning the Advertising category off on the "Your Privacy Choices" page (or a GPC signal) opts you out.
SECTION 4 - SHOPIFY
Our store is built on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your order data is stored through Shopify’s data storage, databases and the general Shopify application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall. Shopify’s analytics cookies on our storefront are not set when you first arrive; they are set once you keep browsing after our notice or accept it, unless you opt out. If you opt out, they are not set and any previously set Shopify analytics cookies are removed. Checkout takes place on Shopify’s hosted checkout, which is governed by Shopify’s own cookie and privacy controls.
Payment:If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Shopify stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted. All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers. For more insight, you may also want to read Shopify’s Terms of Service (https://www.shopify.com/legal/terms) or Privacy Statement (https://www.shopify.com/legal/privacy).
SECTION 5 - THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
