A Look Inside Hart Pond
Some jewelry marks an occasion. Ours has always been made to hold a feeling: the nerves before the question, the hand you reach for without thinking, the ordinary afternoon you'd give anything to live again.
why hart pond?
Hart Pond is a cabin on a quiet pond in the woods of upstate New York, and it's where we photographed this collection. Still water, tall grass, old wood, and soft natural light. It felt like the kind of place people return to again and again, leaving a little of themselves behind each time.
That feeling became the heart of the collection. We think of Hart Pond as a place you remember even if you've never been there. Pressed flowers in a book. Letters tied with ribbon. A tin of mismatched buttons. A photograph faded just enough.
The collection is built around two ideas. The Reflections are the things worth returning to. The Beginnings are what becomes part of the story next.
Reflections & Beginnings
Ten years of sentimental jewelry
TJ and Kayla Searle started Olive Ave in 2016 and named it after the street in Gilbert, Arizona, where they first lived. Jewelry was already in the family. TJ's parents ran The Diamond Consortium for about 30 years, and our family has been in the jewelry industry since 1981.
From the start, we set out to be the original sentimental jewelry company, making rings designed to hold onto something more than a single moment. Hart Pond is how we're marking ten years: by looking back at rings we've loved for a long time, and forward to the ones that will carry the next chapter. You can read more about how it all began in our origin story.
The Beginnings: 5 New Rings
The Beginnings move the story forward. Each one starts from the same sentimental foundation and is made to become part of the memories and milestones still ahead.
kara
Kara is for the most familiar kind of love, the hand you reach for without thinking. Its name carries two meanings, "beloved" and "friend."
A prong set center stone sits above a row of oval accent stones that share their prongs, so the ovals rest close together in one unbroken line. The design grew out of our Kara wedding band, and the accent stones come in three proportions: Micro, Mod, and Grand.
Center stone shapes: elongated cushion, marquise, oval, pear, radiant, and emerald.
sumner
Sumner is for the person who makes anywhere feel like home. Channel set baguette stones run along each side of the center stone. In a channel setting, the stones sit between two walls of metal with no prongs, which gives Sumner its clean lines and structured shimmer across a flat gold shank.
Center stone shapes: duchess, duchess step, elongated cushion, emerald, radiant, lozenge, marquise, oval, pear, and round.
phoebe
Phoebe is for the conversations that turn into hours and the nights that always end too soon. The name comes from the Greek for "bright" or "shining," and the design follows that light. Round accent stones sit within star carvings worked directly into the band, and the center stone rests above a curved gallery rail. You can choose a contour or straight band.
Center stone shapes: duchess, duchess step, elongated cushion, emerald, radiant, lozenge, marquise, oval, pear, and round.
betty
Betty is for the family you find in each other and the traditions you make your own. It's a pet form of Elizabeth, a name whose oldest meaning is a promise. The claw set center stone sits in a button back setting designed to rest flush against your finger, a vintage-inspired detail that gives Betty its distinctive silhouette.
Betty comes in 14K yellow, white, or rose gold, or in two tone with a 14K white gold basket and a 14K yellow gold band.
Center stone shapes: elongated cushion, emerald, oval, and radiant.
georgia
Georgia is for the people you were when you met and everyone you're still becoming. Inspired by an old garden that changes with every season, it takes its cues from the Georgian era of jewelry. The center stone rests in a raised setting with delicate claw accents, a refined take on a traditional Georgian setting, on a tapered band that feels comfortable for everyday wear.
Center stone shapes: oval, emerald, radiant, elongated cushion, marquise, and pear.
The Reflections: 5 Rings Worth a Second Look
The Reflections have been part of our catalog for a long time, but they've never had a campaign of their own. Each one has details we think deserve a closer look: milgrain edges, emerald accents, a split shank, a burst halo, and a cathedral basket.
Lennon
Lennon is for the song that takes you right back to them. Its oval center stone is framed by a channel prong halo with milgrain detailing, a row of tiny metal beads along the edges that was a hallmark of Victorian and Edwardian jewelry. Everything sits in an intricate basket on a half round shank, so there's something new to notice each time you look.
Center stone shape: oval.
Cordelia
Cordelia is for the person who knows every side of you and loves all of it. The name is most often linked to the Latin word for "heart." An elongated oval center stone is surrounded by elaborate side clusters that include lab grown emerald baguettes, the only deep green in the collection. It's set in a detailed basket on a half round shank.
Center stone shape: elongated oval.
lowen
Lowen is Cornish for "joy," and it's made for the ordinary days that turn into your favorite memories. A marquise center stone is held with claw prongs in a flush setting, so it sits low on your hand. A dramatic split shank opens around the stone and gives the design movement and dimension.
Center stone shape: marquise.
Finley
Finley is for the good news you can't wait to tell them. A marquise center stone is surrounded by a burst halo of round and tapered baguette stones that radiate outward like fireworks over the water. It's set in a detailed basket on a pinch tapered shank, so the sparkle is bold and the structure stays refined.
Center stone shape: marquise.
avens
Avens takes its name from a wildflower once called the "blessed herb," and it's for the love you know you can always come back to. Its emerald shaped center stone is framed by a channel prong halo and held in a cathedral basket, named for the arches that rise from the band to hold the stone. The emerald cut's long, stepped facets catch the light like panes of glass.
Center stone shape: emerald or radiant
