Emma + Brock

In 2019 I moved away from my family and everything I ever knew as home to begin college at SBU. Brock decided to stay in his hometown and begin college at SBU as well. Within our first week of school our paths crossed. After our first interaction Brock told his friend that I was the girl he was going to marry. When I found out about this, I was baffled at how sure he was, but I quickly became just as confident. We hit it off and began our dating journey of 4 years before getting engaged. As we dated each other through Covid and many other difficult life events one thing remained constant- we always chose each other. At the end of the day, we always knew our love for each other was worth working through any trials. Brock became my home away from home and now we can’t imagine a life without each other. Brock proposed on St. George Island- an island my family visits every summer. Except, this summer his family got to come too! It was the most special day. I’ve begun doctorate school and Brock is finishing up his undergrad and graduating this winter. Our big day is planned for August 3rd, 2024 and we simply cannot wait!
