the love story
Jagen had known Damon long before they ever dated, connected through the same close group of childhood friends. Their lives overlapped in quiet ways through the people around them, long before anything was officially theirs. By the end of their first semester of college, he finally asked her out and it felt easy from the start, like something that had already been building without either of them forcing it.
the proposal
Six months later, they were already talking about forever, not in a rushed way, but in the way that happens when something feels clear. Damon planned a beach day that reflected who they were, simple, intentional, and a little unexpected.
They spent the afternoon geocaching, moving from one location to the next until Jagen uncovered a jar buried in the sand. Inside were flower petals and a custom ring box Damon had designed from a sketch with the help of a jeweler, something made specifically for her.
As she took it in, he got down on one knee and the moment felt quiet and certain all at once.
They were married just six months later on April 20th, choosing to follow that same clarity into the life they were building together.

Over time, their story became something they could carry with them, not just in memory but in the pieces Jagen wears each day.
She later designed the Stader Ring, named after her maiden name, as a way to hold onto where she came from while stepping fully into what they were creating together. It became a reflection of both identity and partnership, something that felt entirely her while still belonging to their shared life.
Damon, true to who he is, chose a simple gold band, clean and classic, something that reflected his steady nature. Later, Jagen repurchased that same band and added an engraving on the inside, a small detail that turned something simple into something deeply personal. She now wears his original Damon band alongside her own, a quiet reflection of how their lives have intertwined over time.

Other pieces followed as their life continued to grow, each one tied to a specific moment.
Her Ida Chain, worn daily, holds a small custom “28” charm, marking one of the most meaningful dates in their story. Their daughter, Darcy, was born on September 28th, exactly eight years after the day they got engaged. The pieces Jagen wears now, including the Ada Ring and Darcy Ring, hold more than memories of two people choosing each other.
Additionally, Jagen designed her Leon Ring in honor of her grandfather, carrying a sense of legacy and family into her everyday life. It is a piece that connects past and present in a way that feels both grounding and lasting.
