the love story
Jagen and Damon met in college. Damon's childhood best friends were already part of Jagen's world before he ever arrived on campus, so once he got there, she was already part of the friend group, and the two naturally got to know each other. By the end of their first semester, Damon asked her out. It felt easy from the start, like something that had been building long before either of them noticed.
the proposal
Six months later, they were already talking about forever, and it felt like the next natural step. Damon planned a beach day built around something they both loved: geocaching.
They spent the afternoon moving from one spot to the next until Jagen uncovered a jar buried in the sand. Inside were flower petals and a custom ring box, one Damon had sketched himself and built with a jeweler, made just for her.
As she looked inside, Damon got down on one knee. The moment was quiet and completely their own.
They married that April.
the rings that followed
Over the years, that history became part of the jewelry Jagen wears every day.
She later designed the Stader Ring, named after her maiden name, a way to hold onto where she came from while building a life with Damon.
Damon chose a simple gold band that fit him from the start. Jagen later had the same style made in 14K gold with an engraving inside, and now wears his original band alongside her own.
pieces with meaning
As their family grew, so did the collection of pieces that marked it.
Her Ida Chain, worn daily, holds a custom "28" charm. Her Ada Ring and Darcy Ring mark two more moments from those years.
Jagen also designed her Leon Ring in honor of her grandfather.
looking forward
The smaller moments, geocaching in the sand, a repurchased gold band, a charm marking a birthday, are what shaped Jagen and Damon's story.
What began as an easy college friendship is now a family, one still adding new pieces to the collection.
