Maci + Blake

Four years ago, Blake and I met at college while working together as partners in a communication class. He was the outgoing extrovert, and I was the quiet introvert, so naturally, he chose me as his partner. As we grew closer, we became good friends, and after a considerable amount of time, we started dating two years later.

We recently took a road trip to the East Coast with our van, and on October 8th our first stop was Acadia National Park, where we had planned to hike the Beehive Trail. After a few wrong turns, we realized we were on the Gorham Mountain Trail instead. Despite this, we decided to stay at the top and enjoy the beautiful views as the sun began to set. It was then that Blake surprised me by setting up his tripod for a photo, getting down on one knee, and proposing with the most stunning ring. I said yes of course, and we're beyond excited to begin our forever together!
