Torri + Talen

My name is Torri and my fiance is Talen. As of November of this year, we have been together for five years. As you can imagine, we are so excited to officially be engaged!

The two of us have known each other since we were kids in Sunday school at our church and were close friends for a while until we began dating in high school.

Being together so long, not only have we gotten to watch one another grow into the man and woman we are today, but also, have truly become each other's best friends. I'm so thankful to have the privilege of knowing and loving a guy like Talen.

I (Torri) graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University on Sunday, December 10! Talen was able to pull the proposal photos off by having me think that I was getting graduation photos done on Saturday, December 9. I am a wedding photographer myself, and agreed with a friend that she would capture the photos for me, and I would edit them myself. Little did I know, Talen had already planned the proposal to take place, which made for the perfect timing for a photographer to already be there. When I arrived to the photo spot, he wasn't there, but a few minutes afterwards, came out from behind a wall where he was hiding, and I saw him at the top of the steps waiting for me :')))

Saturday, December 9, 2023 will forever be my favorite day! Being in the wedding industry myself, I have always imagined what my special moment would be like, and truly could not have dreamt it to be any more perfect than what it was. I'm so thankful to be marrying the love of my life!
